MADE IN AMERICA!

Jobs are leaving this country at an alarming rate! I challenge you to look around your home- I was shocked! Most everything I found was made in China, Mexico!

I'm going to start shopping with the intent to buy MADE IN AMERICA! This is one small thing I can do to support the USA and the few jobs that are left here!

Will you join me? What is your favorite product to eat? Where's it made? Write to company and ask them to start making it America... or you might find a new favorite!!!

SUPPORT AMERICA! BUY MADE IN AMERICA!

And say a prayer... that maybe our Government will start supporting jobs here in America too!

We support you Az!

Apparently it is now cool to break the law! Obama is encouraging the 'lack of enforcement' and igniting further lies about the law. Holder and Napolitano have both admitted that they have NOT read the law! The same law they are speaking out against, claiming racial profiling! How are your intentions honest, when your assumptions are not even based in FACT?

Would you like to read the AZ bill? (see here)

ICE's head, Morton, is now refusing to assist Az?!

Thank you, Brown!

Thank you Scott Brown for proving my point!

We must be VERY CAREFUL for who we vote for. Many talk a good game, but it's only talk. All bets are off after they are elected. That is why I think it is so important to vote them *ALL* out and elect people who are not in policital circles.

Please call Scott Brown and thank him for being a RINO!

America the Beautiful

We've had this sent to us, requesting we post it, several times.

'America the Beautiful,' a Poem by Judge Roy Moore
Circulating via forwarded email: 'America the Beautiful,' a caustic poem about the nation's moral decline attributed to Judge Roy Moore of Alabama.
Description: Email flier
Circulating since: 1997
Status: Authentic (more or less)

Email example contributed by Janice E., Nov. 29, 2003:

The following is a poem written by Judge Roy Moore from Alabama. Judge Moore was recently sued by the ACLU for displaying the Ten Commandments his courtroom.

AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL

America the Beautiful, or so you used to be.
Land of the Pilgrims' pride; I'm glad they'll never see.

Babies piled in dumpsters, Abortion on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty, your house is on the sand.

Our children wander aimlessly poisoned by cocaine,
Choosing to indulge their lusts, when God has said abstain.

From sea to shining sea, our Nation turns away
From the teaching of God's love and a need to always pray.

So many worldly preachers tell lies about our Rock,
Saying God is going broke so they can fleece the flock.

We've kept God in our temples, how callous we have grown.
When earth is but His footstool, and Heaven is His throne.

We've voted in a government that's rotting at the core,
Appointing Godless Judges who throw reason out the door,

Too soft to place a killer in a well deserved tomb,
But brave enough to kill a baby before he leaves the womb.

You think that God's not angry, that our land's a moral slum?
How much longer will He wait before His judgment comes?

How are we to face our God, from Whom we cannot hide?
What then is left for us to do, but stem this evil tide?

If we who are His children, will humbly turn and pray;
Seek His holy face and mend our evil way:

Then God will hear from Heaven and forgive us of our sins,
He'll heal our sickly land and those who live within.

But, America the Beautiful, if you don't then you will see,
A sad but Holy God withdraw His hand from Thee.

Judge Roy Moore

Analysis: Circulating online since 1997 (at which time its author was listed as "Anonymous"), the above poem — this particular version of it, anyway — has more recently been attributed to Alabama's notorious Judge Roy Moore. Since its authorship has been vetted by presumably reliable sources, it's listed here as authentic (see authorship update below).

Judge Moore vaulted to national prominence several years ago when, as Alabama's Chief Justice, he installed a 5,000-pound monument emblazoned with the Ten Commandments in the state's Supreme Court building. His defiance of a federal court order to remove it on grounds that it violated the Constitutional principle of separation of church and state led to Moore's suspension in 2003.

He is also a self-styled poet. In his 2005 book, So Help Me God: The Ten Commandments, Judicial Tyranny, and the Battle for Religious Freedom, Moore evinces a lifelong love of poetry and mentions several of his own efforts, including "Our American Birthright," an inspirational ditty quite similar in style and theme to "America the Beautiful."

Among the sources citing Roy Moore as the author of the poem are The American Spectator, WorldNetDaily.com, and the Associated Press.

Update: Associate says the poem was 'PARTLY' written by Judge Roy Moore - In a February 6, 2006 email from the headquarters of Roy Moore's Foundation for Moral Law in Montgomery, Alabama, the organization's secretary Heather Moore wrote: "Part of the poem was anonymous and part was written by the Chief Justice. There are several different versions being circulated [and] this is but one."

Apparently, we still have not learned our lesson. We've elected another one! It appears the statement "People elect the government they deserve" is true!

Little life lessons

You are not entitled to anything. Even if you worked really hard for it. The truth no one wants to tell you anymore is this... Life is not fair! Life is full of challenges, disappoints, and successes. Most of the time, if you work hard you will succeed, but nothing is guaranteed. While none of us want to disappoint our children- sometimes we should. It is OKAY to say "no". It is OKAY to say- "you have to work and pay for it yourself". How else will our children learn to live in the real world? What will they do, at the age of 30, when their boss says "NO"? The world does not love your child, but you do! So isn't it best for you to teach them, in a loving way, so that they will learn to adjust, cope, and rise above the challenge?

Hollywood, professional athletes, politicians- these are not role models. Well, yes they are role models- if you are trying to teach your children that: they are above the law, marriage is not important, drugs, jails, and multiple sexual partners is okay. I know there are a few good ones left, but could you please remind me of one?

I want my children to grow up educated. I want them to be hard workers. I want them to be honest, kind, loving to their families and spouses, respectful. I want them to do the right thing- even when it's the hardest thing to do. So why would I support Hollywood?

What kind of adults do you want your children to be? What kind of American do you want them to grow up in?

Our children are worth fighting for!

We should all go buy American T-shirt and American Flag pins to wear on our shirts- EVERYDAY! NEVER APOLOGIZE FOR BEING A POWERFUL PATRIOT!

Not only are the stated intentions not "good", they are not the actual intentions... (Part #1--Setting the Stage)

Consequence—con•se•quence (n.)
  1. Something that logically or naturally follows from an action or condition.
  2. The relation of a result to its cause.
  3. A logical conclusion or inference.
Recent news from the European financial markets hints at a growing storm in the birthplace of democracy. In 1981, the nation of Greece joined the European Union, and the country's original currency, the Drachma, was replaced by the Euro in 2002. In a short period of just less than 3 decades, the world is now witness to the logical outcome (the consequence) of Greece's decision to sacrifice a good measure of its sovreignty and its freedom.

Two general financial prerequistes exist for entry into the single-currency-bloc for all candidate country. Firstly, the EU establishes "Broad Economic Policy Guidelines" for the country; these policies are non-binding, and at best represent a set of ideal outcomes following intregation into the bloc. Secondly, all members of the Eurozone are beholden to the "Stability and Growth Pact." This treaty dictates the acceptable parameters for each Eurozone member's fiscal policy, including: limits on deficits and national debt, with associated sanctions for deviation. Specifically, each member nation must maintain:

  • An annual budget deficit no higher than 3% of GDP.
  • A national debt lower than 60% of GDP or approaching that value.
Like every other country in the EU, Greece had to accept these requirements. Earlier this Spring, news broke which shed light on a pattern of dishonest financial reporting spanning years. Greece had essentially lied to the world by claiming that it was in compliance with these measures. The reality instead was this: in 2009, instead of deficits set at 3% of GDP, Greece had budgeted 13.6% of its GDP to finance burgeoning government entitlement programs. In aggregate, the 2009 national debt for this country in crisis was an astounding 115% of its gross domestic product.

When we ask "what does this mean?" we are really asking two questions:
  • "What caused this?"
  • "What are the potential probable effects (the consequences)?"
Powerful Patriots will attempt to provide meaningful answers to these questions over the next several days.

Stay united, stay hopeful, and stay powerful!
